Several organizations have contacted Safety Net about recent changes in Zoom’s privacy policies, and we have followed much of the reporting about these changes and updates from Zoom. Achieving clarity on Zoom’s privacy policies is crucial since advocates and service providers often discuss confidential information that they are obliged to protect. Disclosure of that information could put survivors at risk, and the nature of AI models and training processes implies that confidential information could be exposed in unpredictable ways.
